How to Manage Courses
The Ukkera Instructor Dashboard provides a comprehensive suite of tools to create and manage your educational content. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up and maintaining your courses.
Prerequisites
- An active Ukkera Instructor account.
- Course materials (videos, documents, etc.) ready for upload.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Creating a New Course
To start sharing your knowledge, you first need to create a course container:
- Navigate to the Courses section from the sidebar.
- Click on the New Course button.
- Fill in the course details, including Title, Description, and Category.
- Upload a high-quality Course Image to attract students.
- Set your Pricing and Visibility (Public or Private).
- Click Save to create the course.
2. Adding Lectures and Content
Once your course is created, you can populate it with content using our 3-level hierarchical structure:
- Sections (Level 1): The broadest category of your course content.
- Chapters (Level 2): Organized topics within each Section.
- Lectures (Level 3): The actual teaching materials (Videos, PDFs, etc.) inside each Chapter.

To add content:
- Open the course you just created and go to the Lectures tab.
- Create a Section first.
- Inside your Section, click Add Chapter.
- Inside each Chapter, click Add Lecture.
- You can upload Videos, PDFs, Images, or add Plain Text and Links.
- Use the Whiteboard feature for interactive teaching sessions.
3. Editing and Updating
You can update your course information at any time:
- Use the Edit icon next to any course or lecture to change its details.
- To delete a course, use the Delete button (Note: This action is permanent).

Tips
- Promo Codes: Boost your sales by offering discounts. See the Promo Codes Guide for full instructions.
- Content Visibility: In the course settings, you can toggle whether students see "Closed" (locked) lectures. If turned off, these lectures will be completely hidden from their view until you unlock them.
- Organize with Chapters: Breaking down your course into clear chapters helps students follow the material more easily.
- Copy Course Link: Use the "Copy Link" feature to share your course directly on social media or with your students.
- Active Website: Ensure your website is active in the settings before sharing links.
